My Specialty: Pain Management
Languages I Speak: English
I grew up in Anaheim, California. I like to stay active in my free time: cycling, snowboarding, soccer, hiking, working out; I also enjoy live music (when attending shows was possible) and reading medical non-fiction books. In residency, I spent time in Guatemala with a non-profit called Range of Motion Project, which runs clinics for amputee patients; I stay in touch with this program still as they operate and try to support them when I can.
The patients I have encountered throughout my career have kept me passionate about being a physician - starting from those I worked with as a hospital volunteer in college and continuing today to the patients I see in my clinics. My interactions with patients have given me a unique perspective on life that I am grateful for and serve as a reminder to be open-minded and humble.
I enjoy working in partnership with other providers to provide comprehensive care for patients - I embrace a team-based care philosophy when addressing patients' needs.
