Corina Chin, MD
My Specialty: Urgent Care
Languages I Speak: English, Hakka, Mandarin and some Spanish
I was born on the island of Borneo and grew up in a lush, tropical jungle. My mother tongue is Hakka. It is a dialect that is predicted to go extinct this century, so I certainly hope for longevity. As a child, I was fascinated by plants and their medicinal properties. Once, I even witnessed an herbalist treat shingles with a medicinal plant. I enjoy simple pleasures in my free time. I read, hike, and travel. I love to experience different food and cultures in my travels. I like to stay active by exercising on my elliptical on cold days and going hiking when the weather is beautiful. I believe that it is extremely important to eat a balanced diet.
About My Practice
I graduated from St. George's University School of Medicine and I was trained as a family physician in New Jersey. I have always been perplexed by diseases and those conditions that lead to mortality. So for me, the most rewarding part of being a health care provider is to understand the causation of diseases, so I can hopefully offer a cure.
